Skiing Locally
Just about 20 minutes from our cabin, depending on the weather, you’ll find the First Time parking lot at the Park City Mountain Resort. With your EPIC Pass, you can easily hop on the lift! PCMR offers dozens of runs and miles of terrain, so there’s something for everyone, from beginners to advanced skiers. You can rent ski gear, take lessons, or even drop off the kids in one of the resort programs.

Whether you’re using an Icon Pass or an Epic Pass, your season passes will be right here. Deer Valley and Canyons (now part of PCMR) are just a short drive away. And, of course, Utah’s snow is the best in the world. Just look at the license plates or check out the ski reports!
If skiing isn’t your thing, there are plenty of other activities to enjoy in the area and at the resorts, like gondola rides, mountain tours, alpine coasters, and zip lines. Or, you can simply relax at the lodge and wait for the rest of the guests to join you. And nothing beats a family-style dinner at the Snowed Inn. You can pick it up at the Resort Plaza at PCMR and take horse-drawn sleighs up the valley to a fantastic dinner on the slopes. You’re in one of the most amazing winter wonderlands. After skiing, you can drop off your skiers and go shopping.
If you visit during a season other than winter, don’t miss out on the thrill of Utah Olympic Park. Or, if you’re into mountain biking, you can explore the same runs you ski. The ski runs go up and down, and the bike runs cross them. Plus, there are music and art festivals happening all the time.
